Permissions

The app requests the following permissions for core functionality:

Storage Permissions — Required to access files from user-selected folders to serve via FTP/FTPS protocol.
Network Permissions — Required for FTP server operation over WiFi.
WiFi Permissions — Required to check WiFi status and enable WiFi if needed.
Notification Permission — Required to show server status notification.

All permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked by the user at any time through device settings.

Data Security

All data is stored locally on your device.
No data is transmitted over the internet (except when you actively use the FTP server to transfer files).
SSL/TLS encryption (FTPS) is available for secure file transfers.

Air FTP Server does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app uses open-source libraries (Apache FTP Server, BouncyCastle) for core functionality, which do not collect user data.
